About Us
Dublin, Texas is the home of the Dublin Bottling Company where they are now bottling XXX Root Beer and other popular drinks, as well as, Doc's Old Fashion Soda Shop.
Dublin is also the home to the Dublin Cloverleafs Square Dance club and has been for over 25 years.
Dean Rogers was our very first caller and called our dances for many years. Currently we bring in Guest Callers for our fourth Saturday dance and our own, Walt Helgesen calls for our weekly Workshop every Tuesday. Learn more about them when you go to our dance schedule page.
OUR REGULAR DANCE SCHEDULE
We dance every Tuesday evening and the fourth Saturday of every month.
Our fourth Saturday dance always starts with a Workshop at 7:30PM and a Grand March at 8:00PM. We dance until 10:00PM with Mainstream and announced Plus dancing, as well as, Line Dancing and Country Western Dancing between tips. This dance is called by Guest Callers.
On Tuesday night we dance from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. Mainstream/Plus workshop 6:30PM - 8:00PM and guest tips 8:00PM - 8:30PM. Our Tuesday night caller, Walt Helgesen, has been calling for over 20 years and for the Dublin Cloverleafs for over 10 years. If you are looking for a good time and are in the neighborhood, stop in and join us for a night of good fellowship and lots of fun.
We'll be starting another set of lessons Tuesday January 8, 2013 with two free introductory lessons. Lessons will last approximately 15 weeks from 6:30PM - 7:30PM with our regular workshop from 7:30PM - 8:30PM.
Tuesday nights we just put out drinks, then we usually go to the Buckboard Restaurant for a little snack or coffee after our dance to visit and have some of the best food in Dublin. For our Saturday night dance, we go all out with lots of everyones favorites on the food line. Come out and join us for good food, great dancing and best of all, great fellowship.
